raised in Southern California, I am the product of the California

played a prevalent role in my life for the whole of my career. Prior
to having children, I worked in the entertainment industry dealing
primarily in business management. Then, for many years, my husband
and I ran our own management firm. In the late 1980's we moved our
business and our family from the westside to Agoura Hills. As my
three children grew, I became active in the PFCs of their schools
(from Sumac to Willow then Lindero and AHS), serving mainly as treasurer.
My involvement with the district broadened when I became the computer
instructor for Willow Elementary, a position I held for six years.
It was there, due to my weekly interaction in the computer lab with
Willow's more than 500 students, that I discovered how much I enjoyed
teaching. I realized that this love of teaching combined with my
experiences with (and passion for) math would result in an extremely
rewarding career in math education. I made the decision to get my
teaching credential, and for the past fifteen years have been teaching
at Lindero, and truly loving it.

right instruction, encouragement, and support. Furthermore, the
math that they learn in their secondary education will carry them
in many aspects of their adult life.
